At Genius Plus Academy, we believe in keeping things simple — and that starts with one guiding principle:
Put the student at the centre of everything we do.
This belief shapes not just our teaching methods, but the way we run our entire programme. In our weekly academic team meetings, the conversations often sound like this:
• “Is Student A truly understanding this topic?”
• “What else can we do to help them grasp this better?”
• “Let’s speak to the parent — we might need a different strategy.”
• “Could you prepare an extra worksheet on this? A few students are still struggling.”
These aren't scripted lines. They're real discussions we have — because every child’s progress matters to us.
As former school teachers, we’re constantly refining how we teach, how we explain, and how we support. The tools and strategies may evolve, but our foundation in strong pedagogy and genuine care never changes.

👩‍🏫 Started by Former School Teachers, Built for Real Learning

Genius Plus Academy was founded by Mrs Eileen Toh and Mr JY Wong, both former school teachers who left the public service to build something close to their hearts — an education practice focused entirely on helping students learn Math better.
Backed by their years of classroom experience, they bring not just a deep understanding of the MOE curriculum, but also valuable insight into how students think, learn, and struggle.
They’ve seen firsthand how some students fall through the cracks — not because they can’t learn, but because they weren’t taught in a way that made sense to them.
That’s why they created the Genius Plus in-house programme — a curriculum designed from the ground up to be clear, efficient, and effective. Every lesson, worksheet, and method is built around how students actually learn — not just how Math is usually taught.
Because when you combine strong pedagogy with genuine care, students don’t just improve — they thrive.

🤝 It Takes a Village — And We’re in This Together

At Genius Plus Academy, we believe that supporting a child’s learning journey isn’t a solo effort — it takes a whole village.
Behind every student’s success is a team:
Tutors, parents, teaching assistants, curriculum specialists, our publications team, and admin staff — all working together to create a nurturing, structured, and responsive environment for your child to grow.
From the very beginning, we make communication a priority.
📱 Upon registration, we set up a dedicated WhatsApp group connecting you with your child’s tutor and our core team — so you’re never in the dark. You’ll receive updates, progress insights, and can reach out anytime with questions or concerns.
🗓️ We also organise a Parent-Tutor Conference at the end of every semester, giving you the opportunity to discuss your child’s progress, address any concerns, and align on next steps — together.
Because when school, tuition, and home are aligned, children don’t just do better — they thrive.

❤️ More Than a Tuition Centre — A Community That Cares

Genius Plus Academy is proud to be a registered social enterprise with raiSE SG.
Beyond our classrooms, we believe in using education to uplift and serve — especially for children from less financially privileged backgrounds.
Through a combination of subsidised tuition programmes, volunteer tutor mentoring, and community outreach initiatives, we do our part to ensure that quality education is never out of reach.
💙 Here’s how we give back:
📘 75% Bursary Support
Students on the MOE Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS) can apply for a bursary that covers up to 75% of their fees with us.
🌟 Full Fee Waivers for Exceptional Cases
We also offer full tuition fee waivers for students who may be facing extraordinary financial hardship — because every child deserves a fair shot.
🎁 Festive Giving – Gift-A-Wish Initiative
Each December, we collaborate with Economics at Tuitiongenius and local Community Centres (CCs) to gift school supplies, toys, and essentials to children through our Gift-A-Wish Christmas project — spreading joy where it’s needed most.
